Welcome to natalieharrisspencer.com, the new home for everything that used to be Natalie R Harris! Seriously, it’s an administrative nightmare changing one’s name, and even more so when you have lots of social profiles and accounts, all with slightly different versions of your name.
I debated long and hard about keeping Natalie R Harris as my pen name, since I’d built up my online reputation over a long period and gained a decent following. However, after I got married I realised that it just didn’t make sense to maintain two names, and so here I am: Natalie Harris-Spencer.
Thank you to those of you who have followed my blogs – The Edible Editor and Bouquet Catch. I’m still going to be working on those – but I felt I needed a “professional” home for my content, where I could showcase my career, and leave a space to update on any exciting new projects.
At the moment, I’m still adjusting to my new name…I think when someone calls me “Mrs Harris-Spencer” it’ll really start to sink in.
In the meantime, here’s a beautiful skyscape of Singapore – one of the many astonishingly beautiful places I visited on my honeymoon, before I officially put the wheels in motion to becoming Natalie Harris-Spencer.
